As long as you’re polite to the waiter and other restaurant staff, then they should treat you well as a customer – period (no matter if there’s “needed accommodations).

I sometimes feel guilty about making the server work so hard to put in my specifications. When I go out with Mallard, I feel a little more awkward because he’s usually starving when we sit down and my order is never a short ordeal.

vegan pizza? i like the sounds of that! I sometimes shy away from asking the waitress to make modifications, but they way i think of it, if i want a wonderful meal and a good experience at a restaurant, then i shouldn’t mind asking for minor modifications! The worse they can say is NO, but when does that really happy! most restaurants are more then happy to accommodate!
